Capt. Charlie Hebert

Hi, my name is Capt. Charlie Hebert, a native Louisianan with a passion for sight fishing in our beautiful marshes and islands. I have been fishing in my home waters for as long as I could hold a rod & reel and I am eager to share this fishery with you. I graduated from LSU with a Wetland Science degree meaning that my passion for Louisiana ecosystems is coupled with an extensive knowledge of its processes. At Hebert’s Guide Service we specialize in targeting big bull redfish, black drum, sheepshead, and more on fly and light tackle gear with sight fishing as the primary objective. When I am not in Louisiana chasing redfish I am guiding on Montana’s renowned Smith River, and then in Alaska guiding for silver salmon on the famous Goodnews River. You can learn about all of this and more as I push pole you around the marshes, creeks, and bayous that I call home.
