Capt. Charlie Hebert
Hi, my name is Capt. Charlie Hebert, a native Louisianan with a passion for fishing Louisiana’s broad and intricate ecosystems. I’ve grown up hunting and fishing across my home state and proud to call it home. I graduated from LSU with a degree in Wetland Ecology meaning that my passion for Louisiana ecosystems is coupled with an extensive knowledge of its processes and inhabitants. At Hebert’s Guide Service we specialize in targeting big bull redfish, black drum, sheepshead, jack crevalle and more on fly and light tackle gear with sight fishing as the primary objective. When I am not in Louisiana chasing redfish I am guiding on Montana’s Smith River for trout, and Alaska’s Goodnews River targeting salmon and char. You can learn about all of this and more as I push pole you around the marshes, creeks, and bayous that I call home.
